Even though you live in the modern age, you can still carry a coffin handle bowie like hardened men of America’s past. While back in the 1800’s coffin handle bowies had blades closer to 10”, I’ve adapted this one to our more civilized age, producing an authentic, convex ground, curly maple coffin handle bowie with a diminutive 9” overall footprint that comes in at less than 6 ounces. This bowie can ride on your belt anywhere from the field to the grocery store and will serve you equally well as a hunting, bushcraft or edc knife. And, of course, if your life were on the line this bowie would serve you as a first-rate fighting tool.

The Red Tail Coffin comes with a finely crafted 8oz leather sheath. This elegant, yet efficient sheath comes up high on the handle to ensure the knife never falls out in the woods, and warm brown leather is set off by red waxed thread stitching and copper rivets to ensure a lifetime of service.
